Three things that happen when you call

How we handle a service call

Unfortunately, equipment does fail from time to time. When it does, we understand time is crucial, and we take the urgency of your request into account through our intuitive scheduling hierarchy.

Time is crucial

A machine that is down is not a maintenance item, it is a stopped operation. We treat the call that way from the moment it comes in.

Urgency first

We take the urgency of your request into account rather than working a queue in the order it happened to arrive.

Scheduling hierarchy

Our intuitive scheduling hierarchy is how that judgement gets made consistently, so the answer does not depend on who picks up the phone.

Report a breakdown

Tell us the building, the equipment and what it is doing, and say how urgent it is. That is what the scheduling hierarchy needs in order to work in your favour.

Six families, one phone number

What we get called out to

One number covers the whole floor, so a breakdown does not turn into a search for the right contractor.

Forklifts

Sit down, stand up, three wheel and four wheel electric lifts, plus cushion and pneumatic tire units.

Pallet jacks

Electric walkie and walkie rider jacks, straddle stackers and counterbalanced stackers.

Scissor lifts

Vertical lift platforms, where a fault stops overhead work rather than slowing it down.

Dock equipment

Levelers, lifts, seals, shelters and the safety equipment around the dock face.

Overhead doors

Overhead dock doors, shop doors and commercial doors, where a door that will not close is an open building.

Batteries

Battery repair, watering systems and charger repair, the fault that quietly takes a lift out of service.

Why the hierarchy exists

When time is crucial

Every service call is urgent to the person making it. What separates them is what stops when the machine does.

The problem

First in first out is not triage

A queue worked in the order calls arrive treats a spare machine with a warning light the same as the only lift loading a trailer that leaves at four. Both get a slot, and the one that is actually costing money waits behind the one that is not.

The solution

An intuitive scheduling hierarchy

We take the urgency of your request into account through our intuitive scheduling hierarchy, so the call is placed by what it is holding up rather than by when it was logged.

Tell us what stops while the machine is down and you have given us everything the hierarchy needs.

  • We understand that time is crucial when equipment fails
  • The urgency of your request is taken into account rather than assumed
  • One number for forklifts, docks, doors, batteries and chargers
  • All of Colorado, Southern Wyoming and Northern New Mexico, from our facility at 5850 Dahlia Street in Commerce City
Answers before you call

Common questions

How do you decide which call comes first?

We take the urgency of your request into account through our intuitive scheduling hierarchy, rather than working calls in the order they arrived. Tell us what stops while the machine is down and we can place it properly.

What should I tell you when I call?

The building, the equipment, what it is doing or failing to do, and how urgent it is. The last one matters as much as the rest.

What equipment do you come out to?

Forklifts, pallet jacks, scissor lifts, dock equipment, overhead and commercial doors, and battery and charger faults. One number covers the whole floor.

Can we avoid some of these calls?

A planned maintenance program is built to do exactly that. Equipment still fails from time to time, but the failures that come from wear are the ones a program is designed to find first.

Do you carry parts to a service call?

Our technicians are trained to target, diagnose and resolve the issue rather than to throw parts at it, so what goes on the machine is what the machine needed.

Where do you travel for service?

We serve all of Colorado, Southern Wyoming, and Northern New Mexico, from our facility at 5850 Dahlia Street in Commerce City.
